1. First, check the static appearance and workmanship:

• Casting process: Observe whether the pump casing surface is smooth. High-quality hydraulic pumps (such as Kawasaki or Rexroth original) have a fine casting surface without obvious sand holes, cracks, or rough burrs.
• Sealing: Check the pump shaft end, regulating valve connection, and housing seams. A good pump should not have any oil leaks.
• Fasteners: Observe whether the bolts show signs of disassembly (this is crucial for determining whether it is a refurbished pump). The bolt strength grade should meet the standard (usually grade 12.9).

2. Dynamic operation performance (most intuitive):

• Check the "ID Card": Observe whether the nameplate information is clear and standardized, and whether the production batch can be traced through the serial number.
• Oil Sample Analysis: After running for a period of time, take a sample of the hydraulic oil for testing. If metal powder is found in the oil, it indicates abnormal wear of the internal friction pairs of the pump.
